Pilea Peperomioides Mojito
The first thing that catches the eye with this plant is it’s beautiful, rounded, flat leaves that have earned it names such as the pancake plant and UFO plant. Personally, we’ve never mistaken this plant for a flying saucer, but if aliens are out there who are we to judge their mode of transport. It’s an excellent little plant, and loves bright rooms, and doesn’t have a demanding watering routine, so can survive if you miss watering it for a day or two.
Native to Southern China, it’s thought to bring good luck and charm to those that own it. Which is very lucky, as it’s very simple to grow form cuttings and can be easily passed on. Because of this, it has become one of the classic 'plant gifts' over the last few years. Fortune and wealth to all it seems.
