The ‘Nerve Plant’ is a species of flowering plant belonging to the Acanthaceae family. It best grows in soils based on peat, with a moist area (such as a bathroom), and indirect sunlight. It can be quite demanding in it’s need for water, if left alone the leaves can shrivel quickly. However, it is quickly and easily restored, so don’t worry if you forget to water every now and then!
