Dracaena Masoniana - 'Whales Fin'
The whale fin is part of the Asparagaceae family, and originally comes from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in central Africa, which is why its common name is Mason’s Congo Sansevieria. It’s also commonly known as The Whale Fin, which should be self-explanatory given the look of the plant and its unique shape. It’s unusually wide, paddle-like leaves are slow-growing, and the Whale Fin Snake Plant reaches striking size compared to other members of the genus.
Its leaves are beautifully mottled with decorations of dark and light green, and the leaf margins are often a pink-ish red hue. Like nearly all Snake Plants, Dracaena Masoniana is known for its air-purifying abilities, and is great for newbies, requiring very little maintenance and care.
(All plants come in plastic grow pot unless otherwise stated)
