Crassula Ovata - 'Lucky Jade'
Likes to fully dry. Well-drained soil.
Bright light, not direct
The jade plant is a succulent houseplant with fleshy, oval-shaped leaves and thick, strong stems that resemble tiny tree trunks, that once established as a mature plant, forms a miniature tree like structure, with a heavy trunk and branches. They are very easy to care for, provided they have plenty of light. As they store water in their fleshy leaves, they do not require a lot of attention.
Coming from South Africa, jade plants were once thought to bring good luck to anyone who owned them, so they were often given as gifts when moving into a new place. Because they're normally only grown indoors, they are very easy to care for, and doesn’t come with problems that other plants face, like adjusting to climate or humidity
