Crassula Marnieriana - 'Hottentot'
This unusual Crassula Marnieriana is certainly an interesting looker, with its thickly compact stature and trailing growth it quickly becomes a talking point of any collection.
At Leafy, you’re be hard-pressed to find someone who isn’t a huge fan of trailing plants. With their differing growth patterns and foliage, as well as, let’s be honest, almost otherworld looks, it’s easy to see why we fall in love with them. Indoor hanging succulents are an interesting breed of plant, and take a bit of time adjusting to if you’re only other knowledge of hanging plants is Devils Ivy.
Also known as a Jade Nacklace plant, it’s small, snake-shaped strings of thickly compacted leaves trail over the edges of the container and resemble jewellery hanging out of a box in a fancy bedroom. Though not tolerant of direct sunlight, moderate sunshine fuels this plant to eventually produce beautiful red edging on the grey-green leaves. In the right conditions, this succulent can grow to about 20cm in height.
